The Saudis Bring War to Yemen’s East

Writing for the Middle East Research and Information Project, MEI Academic Scholar Susanne Dahlgren says that until 2017, the far eastern province of al-Mahra had been free from the fighting which has been plaguing the rest of Yemen. Then, it became the new frontline of Saudi Arabia’s war – fought not with bombs, but through construction projects and development aid – to build an oil pipeline from the kingdom, through Mahari lands, to the Indian Ocean. The full article can be found at the link below:
