Tan Soon Kim

Mr Tan serves as Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Singapore, and currently oversees operations in Global Markets (Americas & Europe, Middle East & Africa and South Asia).

Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development. It works with companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. It also supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading companies and startups and promotes quality and standards in Singapore’s products and services.

Mr Tan’s previous portfolios in Enterprise Singapore included European Union and WTO Trade Policy and engagement with International Organisations such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. He was previously in charge of the Consumer Lifestyle Group and Global Markets (Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia & Oceania). Mr Tan was also posted to Washington DC from 2001-2003 where he served concurrently as First Secretary in the economics section of the Singapore Embassy, supporting efforts in bilateral economic relations and the US-Singapore FTA.

Mr Tan currently sits on the board of Singapore Cooperation Enterprise.

Mr Tan holds an Executive MBA (University of Chicago Graduate School of Business) and had completed the Advanced Management Program (Harvard Business School). He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2014 and (Silver) in 2020.
