Iran Blacklisted By FATF While Pakistan Stays On The Grey List

Writing for Air World Service, MEI senior research fellow Dr Asif Shuja says that global inter-governmental watchdog Financial Action Task Force’s decision to keep Iran on its blacklist, which identifies countries with whom it is financially risky to deal with, was likely due to the increasing dominance of the conservatives in Iranian politics and will create further economic hardships for the country.
