CNA Interviews Michael Hudson on the Syrian Conflict

22 Mar 2013

On 20 March 2013 MEI Director Professor Michael Hudson was interviewed by Channel News Asia on the conflict in Syria. Syrian opposition rebels have reportedly used chemical weapons in their attacks, a report of which U.S. President Obama says he is “deeply skeptical.” In the segment Hudson discusses the limited capability of the Syrian opposition to engage in chemical warfare and the counterproductive effect it would have on their cause internationally if the claims were true.
