The Geopolitical Environment and Political Ecosystem of Israel

Abstract:

Yossi Verter will discuss the map of threats to Israel’s security amid the contemporary developments in the Middle East. He proposes that there are two main strategic threats to this. The first threat is the collapse of the Palestinian authority and the second is the possibility of an all-out war with Hezbollah in the north of the country. In addition, Mr Verter will also present his views on the stalemate in the peace process with the Palestinians and the risk of a one-state for two peoples solution.
