In today’s Cairo, Hebba, a television show host, presents a successful political talk show on a privately owned network. Her husband Karim, is deputy editor in chief of a government-owned newspaper. When his promotion is threatened by his wife’s meddling in opposition politics, he charms her to stay away from politics, and devote her program to social issues unrelated to government politics. She begins a series of shows about women’s issues. She listens to the stories of resilient, strong women, who, like Scheherazade in “A Thousand and One Nights”, tell their stories to stay alive. Registration Desk open from 7pm onwards Do arrive early for registrations in order to avoid delay of the screening
