CNA Interviews Michael Hudson on Egyptian Unrest

On 28 January 2013, Channel News Asia interviewed MEI Director Michael C. Hudson on the tumultuous situation in Egypt, in which many are taking to the streets in protest of the present political climate on the second anniversary of the country’s uprisings. In the segment, Professor Hudson discusses the curfew instituted by President Morsi, the deep lack of consensus between the Muslim Brotherhood and more centrist groups, and the workings of the Suez Canal, among other subjects.
